Brahms Piano Concerto No.1 in D. Minor

Attended a wonderful performance on last friday. To my overly amateurish tastes, it sounded a little edgy rawer than what I had come to expect from a Brahms piece. Looking forward to check out the Arthur Rubinstein interpretation.

Rubinstein played this piece since he was 11 years old. Can't go wrong with any of his versions although, in the minds of MANY Rubinstein aficionados, his 1954 recording with Reiner and The Chicago Symphony is an absolute classic!!!
