Winter Light

Watched it again tonight after a long time. Deeply religious but the one thing that is different in this watching is it looked a little bit awkward. Those questions sounded a little superficial not their subject matter but the way they were phrased and staged. "God's silence". The agonist ex-girlfriend character wasn't played well in the script as the counterpoint. There were like always amazing compositions, some great sideway shots of two people looking on. Great close-ups, a lot of acting looking directly into the camera, etc.
